Editing a custom action

You can edit a custom action from the Manage service library page.

About the task

You can edit locked custom action by changing the status to unlocked. Unlocked custom action can be performed only when the custom action is unassigned from all the service versions that was assigned previously.

Procedure

To edit a custom action, follow these steps:

  1. You can use the pagination drop-down to select the number of records you want to display in a page at a time. Use the > or < to go through the next or previous set of records.

  2. You can select a namespace from the All namespaces dropdown list. The list of custom action in the page changes based on the selected namespace. You can also select "All namespaces" to see all the service for which you have access.

  3. Edit custom action details. For custom action details, see Creating a custom action.

From the Edit custom actions overflow menu, you can do the following actions based on the status as mentioned below:

  • Unlocked: Edit/Assign access/Lock/Delete

  • Locked: Edit/Assign access/Unlock/Delete

  1. Save the changes.
