Topology viewer custom widget
Procedure
Skip steps 1 - 4 if you have already completed them for the Alert list custom widget.

Download the IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps widgets and other artifacts that are needed from: github.com: aiops-cognos-analytics/widgets.

Create a zipped file out of the entire widgets folder.
On macOS: right-click the widgets folder and select Compress "widgets".
On Windows: right-click the widgets folder and select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.

Log in to IBM Cognos Analytics. The base URL is
https://<CLUSTER_NAME>/cognosanalytics/aiops/bi/?perspective=home

From the main navigation menu, click Manage > Customization > Extension.
Click the Upload extension icon
and navigate to your compressed file.
The Cloud Pak for AIOps Topology viewer custom widget is now available to use in new dashboards.

From the main navigation menu, click New > Dashboard > Create.

Click Custom widgets

Select AIOps Topology viewer and drag it onto the canvas.

If you have the alert list viewer open, double-clicking an alert with topology generates the topology map for that alert.

Click Properties to configure the Cloud Pak for AIOps Topology viewer in the properties side panel:

Hops: Sets the number of hops in the topology map.

Show toolbar: Enables or disables the topology viewer toolbar.

Show search: Enables or disables the topology viewer search bar.

ResourceId/StatusId:
- If you have a custom column name that stores the resource/status ID for the topology viewer, enter the name in one of these boxes.
- The topology viewer looks for this column name in the IBM Cognos Analytics data to retrieve the resource ID.
- Otherwise, topology viewer will only work with the Alert list viewer.
