Deploying a middleware templates
You can deploy the predefined middleware templates in GitHub repository by first importing them using
the steps in Import page. Once you import, you can then deploy them to your cloud environment including VMware, IBM Cloud, and AWS.
Starting from IBM Cloud Pak® for AIOps 4.8.0 release, terraform engine 0.11.x is not shipped with the product. The middleware content requires terraform engine 0.11.x. You must use the Create a version steps to first import the 0.11.x terraform engine before you deploy middleware templates.
General deployment guidelines
- Each predefined template was tested with the default values for its variables. See the README file for the template for details on possible customizations to the template.
Deployment guidelines for VMware
- Consult the README file for the template to learn what additional configuration steps might be required to deploy that template.
- No additional general configuration steps are required for VMware.
