Content Runtime Backup Considerations

After a Content Runtime is provisioned, it is recommended customers implement a backup solution.

The following sections will specify the process or file systems that you are recommended to be backed up.

IBM Software Repository Binaries

All the software binaries needed by the Middleware Content Library are located under the file system '/opt/ibm/docker/software-repo/var/swRepo/private'.

Customers should backup the file system once populated or have procedure on how to repopulate.

Also backup the software repository configuration under the file system '/opt/ibm/docker/software-repo/'.

IBM Pattern Manager

Backup the IBM Pattern Manager configuration under the file system '/opt/ibm/docker/pattern-manager/'.
