Security considerations

IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps supports different mechanisms for securing your environment and your data. In addition, as you are planning or going through an installation of IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps, you might need to create or provide certificates. For more information, see Security considerations.

Licensing

As part of using IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps, tracking your license usage is required. Although IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps provides license options not tracked directly by the product, to track usage, you must deploy the IBM Cloud Pak foundational services License Service on all clusters where IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps is installed. This background service collects and stores the license usage information for tracking license consumption and for audit purposes. For more information, Licensing.
