Elements

The probe breaks event data down into tokens and parses them into elements. Elements are used to assign values to ObjectServer fields; the field values contain the event details in a form that the ObjectServer understands.

The following table describes the elements that the Probe for Motorola MUNO generates. Not all the elements described are generated for each event; the elements that the probe generates depends upon the event type.

$Ack

This element indicates whether the error has been acknowledged.

$Ack_Date

This element contains the date when the alarm is acknowledged.

$Ack_Opr

This element displays the name of the operator that acknowledged the alarm.

$Additional_Information

This element displays additional information about the alarm.

$Additional_Text

This element displays additional descriptive information about the alarm.

$Agent

This element displays the name of the agent.

$Alarm_ID

This element displays the identification number of event.

$Cell_BTS

This element displays the cell from where the alarm is generated.

$Clear

This element displays the clearance set for the alarm.

Note:
When the $Clear element is set to CLEAR, the Severity of the alarm is automatically set to CLEAR. Otherwise, it is as mentioned in the severity field.

$Clear_Date

This element displays the date that the alarm was cleared.

$Clear_Opr

This element displays the operation of the alarm clearance.

$Date

This element displays the date of the event.

$Device

This element displays the name of the device.

$Device_Type

This element displays the type of device.

$Event_Type

This element displays the type of event.

$ProbableCause

This element displays the textual description of the probable cause.

$Severity

This element displays the severity of the alarm.

$Telephony_State_New

This element displays additional information about the location of the alarm.
