Elements

The probe breaks event data down into tokens and parses them into elements. Elements are used to assign values to ObjectServer fields; the field values contain the event details in a form that the ObjectServer understands.

The following table describes the elements that the TSM for Avaya Definity G3 generates. Not all the elements described are generated for each event; the elements that the probe generates depends upon the event type.

$Ack

This element indicates whether the error has been acknowledged.

$Ack1

This element indicates whether the alarm has been acknowledged by the first OSS number. Possible values are:

Y: The alarm is acknowledged by the first OSS number.

N: The alarm is not acknowledged by the first OSS number.

C: The alarm is cleared.

[Blank]: There is no acknowledgement state.

$Ack2

This element indicates whether the alarm has been acknowledged by the second OSS number. Possible values are:

Y: The alarm is acknowledged by the second OSS number.

N: The alarm is not acknowledged by the second OSS number.

C: The alarm is cleared.

[Blank]: There is no acknowledgement state.

$AlarmDay

This element contains the day on which the alarm occurred.

$AlarmHour

This element contains the hour at which the alarm occurred.

$AlarmMinute

This element contains the minute at which the alarm occurred.

$AlarmMonth

This element contains the month in which the alarm occurred.

$AlarmState

This element contains the state of the alarm.

$AlarmType

This element contains the type of alarm. Possible values are:
  • Major
  • Minor
  • Warning

$AltName

This element contains the location of the maintenance object.

$ErrorCount

This element indicates the number of times the error has occurred.

$ErrorRate

This element indicates the error rate.

$ErrorType

This element indicates the error condition category.

$FirstOcrDay

This element contains the day on which the error first occurred.

$FirstOcrHour

This element contains the hour at which the error first occurred.

$FirstOcrMinute

This element contains the minute at which the error first occurred.

$FirstOcrMonth

This element contains the month in which the error first occurred.

$Host

This element contains the host name of the source of the event.

$AlarmDay

This element contains the day on which the alarm occurred.

$LastOcrDay

This element contains the day on which the error last occurred.

$LastOcrHour

This element contains the hour at which the error last occurred.

$LastOcrMinute

This element contains the minute at which the error last occurred.

$lastOcrMonth

This element contains the month in which the error last occurred.

$MaintenanceName

This element contains the logical name of the maintenance object.

$OnBoard

This element indicates whether the problem occurred within the circuitry of the alarmed circuit pack.

$Port

This element contains the port number on the specified host.

$PortAffected

This element contains the location code for the object that caused the alarm.

$RatePerHour

This element contains the rate per hour.

$ResDay

This element contains the day on which the alarm was resolved. If the alarm is active, this element contains 0.

$ResHour

This element contains the hour at which the alarm was resolved. If the alarm is active, this element contains 0.

$ResMinute

This element contains the minute at which the alarm was resolved. If the alarm is active, this element contains 0.

$ResMonth

This element contains the month in which the alarm was resolved. If the alarm is active, this element contains 0.

$ServiceState

This element indicates the service state of the station and trunk ports. Possible values are:

RDY: The station and trunk ports are ready for service.

OUT: The station and trunk ports are out of service.

IN: The station and trunk ports are in service.

[Blank]: There is no service state.
