Defining integrations
You can use the IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps console to define integrations and applications.
The integrations and applications that you create serve as the basis for:
- Incoming information that is used to model your IT infrastructure
- Observers that monitor your virtual environments
- Outgoing information that notifies you of any issues
IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps includes many available pre-built integrations that you can configure. If the available integrations do not meet directly meet your requirements, you can use the custom, webhook, and REST integrations to help you create your own integration, such as to integrate with other third-party systems (Blazemeter, Thousand eyes, Catchpoint). In addition you can create custom integrations using the integration SDK.
For more information about defining different types of available integrations in IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps, see the following topics:
- Planning data loading, checking and training
- Mapping data
- Configuring Integrations
- Defining observer jobs
