Configuring the Ansible connection
Before you begin
- Make sure the Ansible Integration is activated from the Managed services. See Enabling or disabling Ansible Integration.
- Make sure the variable Prompt On Launch is checked for the Credential and Inventory on the Ansible for the job templates that are created in the Ansible and used in the Managed services integration.
Procedure
From the Managed services to access your Ansible set up, specify username, password, and URL of the Ansible.

In the navigation bar, click Manage > Ansible automation.

Click Create connection.

Enter the following values:

Ansible connection name - Enter a unique name for the Ansible connection.

Ansible user - Enter the username of the Ansible.
Note: The Ansible user needs to have access to the Ansible artifacts that are consumed in the designed Managed services service.

Ansible password - Enter the password for the Ansible username.

Ansible URL - Enter the URL of the Ansible.

Click Create to create and test the connection.

Click Test from the overflow menu to test the Ansible connection.
Note: The user can create one Ansible connection per namespace and only one global connection that is available to all namespaces.
