Save and publish an action
Creating an action involves defining routines that run a task automatically.
After an action is published and used in production, you might improve it based on its success rate. The following actions are available:
-
Cancel: closes the editor without saving any changes.
-
Save draft: saves the updates that are added. The editor remains open. Save draft is useful if you are editing an action and you want to take a break and continue later. Or you want to save your changes as you go.
-
Save draft & close: saves your changes and closes the editor. You use this option if you need to work on a different item.
-
Publish: publishes a new version of the action and makes it available for use in runbooks and for operators.
