Retiring a service version
You can retire a published service version.
About the task
You cannot retire a draft service version from the user interface, however, you can retire it by using API commands. For the API details, see Service and service instance APIs.
You can retire a particular service version by using the following methods:
Manually retire a service version

Go to the Library > Services pane.

Expand the service to see the service versions or click the service to open the service details pane.

From the overflow menu of a published service version record, select Retire option. On successful completion, a Retire service confirmation message is displayed.

In the Retire service confirmation message box, click Retire. The status of the record changes to "Retired".
Note: The overflow menu of a retired service version has View, Copy, Delete options.
Auto-retire a service version
You can set a retirement date for a published service version. The service version is retired on that particular date and the status of service version is changed to Retired
. This is useful where you want to keep a service version
available for the user to deploy for a certain period only. A retired service version cannot be deployed.

Go to the Library > Services pane.

Expand the service to see the service versions or click the service to open the service details pane.

From the overflow menu of a published service version record, select Set retirement option.

Select the retirement date.

Click Save.
