Supported deployment scenarios

You might need to install more than one instance of the probe, depending on the Microsoft SCOM 2016 deployment scenario you are using.

The probe supports the following Microsoft SCOM 2016 deployment scenarios:

A single server with a single management group
Multiple servers (a cluster) with a single management group

Note: The probe does not support multiple, connected management groups. If you are using this deployment scenario, you can install a separate instance of the probe for each management group.
