Elements
The probe breaks event data down into tokens and parses them into elements. Elements are used to assign values to ObjectServer fields; the field values contain the event details in a form that the ObjectServer understands.
The following table describes some of the elements that the Probe for Alcatel-Lucent OS-OS generates. Not all the elements described are generated for each event; the elements that the probe generates depends upon the event type. The elements present in each event are based on the attributes of the OS-OS event data.

This element contains the name of the source that sent the alarm. |
$neLocationName |
This element contains the name of the location of the network element. |
$notificationType |
This element indicates whether the alarm is new. |
$perceivedSeverity |
This element identifies the perceived severity of the alarm. |
$probableCause |
This element contains a brief description of the probable cause of the alarm. |
$Solicited |
This element indicates whether this was a solicited alarm. |
$specificProblems |
This element contains the specific problems related to the alarm. |
