Installing

You can install IBM Cloud Pak® for Watson AIOps, Infrastructure Automation, or both. Online and offline deployments are supported.

If you have an existing on-premises IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus deployment, then you can connect IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps to it with the Netcool connector. For more information, see Creating IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus connections.

If you have an existing on-premises IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact deployment, then you can connect IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps to it with the IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact connector. For more information, see Creating IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact connections

Before you begin

IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps and Infrastructure Automation can co-exist on the same cluster, but you cannot have multiple instances of either of them on the same cluster.
You can optionally verify the IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps images before you install IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps. For more information, see Verifying images.
