Troubleshooting previous non-native library not being removed after installation

Use this information to remove the previous 64-bit version of non-native when installing probes that use nonnative version 20 on Netcool/OMNIbus V7.4 on Solaris.

Note: In non-native version 20, the 32-bit binary should be used.

Description of the issue

For systems installed with a version of non-native that precedes release 20, the following directory contains the 64-bit version of nco_p_nonnative:

$OMNIHOME/platform/solaris2/probes64

This 64-bit nco_p_nonnative is not removed when installing non-native version 20.

Workaround to the issue

To work around this issue, before running probe installation, perform one of the following actions:

Either uninstall non-native, or all probes dependent on non-native.
Or manually remove $OMNIHOME/platform/solaris2/probes64/nco_p_nonnative or rename the file so that the probe script falls back to the 32 bit non-native binary.
