Installing IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps
You can choose to complete a standard production environment installation of IBM Cloud Pak® for Watson AIOps for a starter or production deployment, or a streamlined small starter installation for a non-production proof-of-concept or trial deployment.
Starter installation
A starter installation provides a concise installation of IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps for deployments that do not require a sustained workload. Use a starter installation only for proof-of-concept or experimentation environments.
Note: If you require an air-gapped (offline) deployment, you must complete a production installation.
Production installation
Production installations are intended for real world use cases and typically require more system and storage resources.
