Defining connections and integrations

You can use the IBM Cloud Pak Automation console to define connections and applications.

The connections and applications that you create serve as the basis for:

• Incoming information that is used to model your IT infrastructure
• Observers that monitor your virtual environments
• Outgoing information that notifies you of any issues
