OpenShift Container Platform for HA accelerator

This accelerator deploys OpenShift nodes on separate hosts. The accelerator deploys two helper nodes, three master nodes, and two worker nodes by default. However, you can deploy more worker nodes by using the Scaling Policy that is defined on those nodes.

Notes:

  • OpenShift Container Platform 4 - HA accelerator is only supported on a single system and cloud groups that have a "Deployment type" of "Single Cloud" or "Multi Cloud".

Table 1: Hardware specifications

Host Specification

16 vCPU for each master node (extra vCPU can be configured when you deploy a accelerator that is based on your requirement).
16 GB RAM for each master node (extra memory can be configured when you deploy a accelerator that is based on your requirement).
Default 3 master nodes. You cannot scale master nodes before or after the deployment.
