Configuring Internet Group Management Protocol snooping
Use the console to configure your switch to enable or disable Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping.
About this task
Note: IGMP snooping is available as a global setting for ToR switches. It can be enabled or disabled
any time.
Procedure
- Click .
- In the Optional section, expand the node for Additional Networking Features.
- Select or clear IGMP Snooping.
- Confirm your choice by clicking OK in the resulting prompt.
Results
If you enable IGMP snooping, a new column displays in the VLANs table after the job completes: IGMP Snooping Enabled. This column indicates whether IGMP snooping is enabled for a VLAN. When you add a VLAN, an Enable IGMP snooping field is available. Use this field to specify whether you want to enable IGMP snooping for the VLAN. For more information, see Adding system connections.
