Administering virtual machines

Note: For virtual machines that are associated with an instance, you must start, stop, or delete that instance by using either the IBM® Cloud Pak System user interface, the command-line interface, or through a REST call. If you start, stop, or delete virtual machines within an instance by using the Virtual Machines page, the instance might run into an erroneous state, which can also impact system performance.
