Restarting replication

You can restart replication if it stops because one rack is restarted or fails when the link goes down between the two racks.

Cloud Pak System can detect and report this situation through a background monitoring job. If this job detects that replication of some volume pairs is stopped or failed, a Restart button is displayed on the Block Storage Replication page, near the Overall Replication State field. You can click Restart to restart the replication.
