Adding, modifying, and deleting organization profiles

You can add an organization profile, modify it to update its settings, or delete it if you no longer need it.

Adding organization profiles

Click System > Organization Profiles.
Click Create New.
Enter a name and description for the new organization profile.
Restriction: If you add an organization profile with the same profile name and description that you had deleted earlier, the following error message is displayed:
```
"CWZKS8000 Unable to create the Organization Profile as it is a duplicate".
```
The problem is because the organization profile gets deleted from the IBM® Cloud Pak System user interface but does not get deleted from the database.
After the organization profile is created, a box that is labeled Link Environment Profile, with a plus sign on it, is displayed.
Click the box to add environment profiles to this organization.
In the Link Environment Profile window that is displayed, search for the environment profiles to add, and select the corresponding check boxes to add them to the organization profile. Click OK when done.
Click Save to save the configuration profile.

Click System > Organization Profiles.
Locate the organization profile that you want to update and click it.
To modify the name or description, click the Edit (crayon) icon on the upper right of the page and update as required.

Restriction: Do not click the Back (left arrow) icon until you save your changes or the changes are lost.
To add more environment profiles, click the box labeled Link Environment Profile.
In the Link Environment Profile window that is displayed, search for the environment profiles to add, and select the corresponding check boxes to add them to the organization profile. Click OK when done.
To remove environment profiles from the organization profile, click the Close (X) icon at the top of the box with the corresponding environment profile.
Click Save to save the configuration profile.

Click System > Organization Profiles.
Locate the organization profile that you want to delete and click it.
Click the Delete icon at the upper right of the page.
To be able to delete an organization profile, the profile must not have any environment profiles linked to it.
