Diagnostic Messages workspace

The Diagnostic Messages workspace is a predefined workspace that provides information about DB2® diagnostic messages.

You can view the following topics:

  • Administration notification log information
  • Event log information
  • Diagnostic log information
Note: Currently the agent supports messages which comply with following format in the db2diag.log file:

MESSAGE : ADM0505E  DB2 received a SIGDANGER signal 
from the operating system.
This signal indicates that the system is running low on paging space.
If the paging space gets too low, the operating system will forcibly
terminate user processes.  Contact your system administrator to
increase your paging space.
