Verifying the database pattern plug-in installation

Before you start working with database patterns, verify that the pattern type is available, and that the license agreement is accepted. Database patterns are installed by default on the system.

1. In the console, click Pattern development > Components > Pattern Types.
2. In the Pattern Types list, click IBM DB2 with BLU Acceleration Pattern 1.2. The details for the pattern display.
   You can view the plug-ins that comprise the database pattern by clicking Show me all plug-ins in this pattern type. The plug-ins that display are as follows:

   • default.db2.pattern.aix
   • default.db2.pattern.linux
   • pattern.db2
   • tsmclient
3. View the License Agreement section to verify that the license for the pattern is accepted.
4. View the Status section to verify that the pattern plug-in is in the Available state.
