System resource management

System resource management is the efficient and effective deployment and allocation of system resources, such as block storage, when and where they are needed.

You can use the block storage REST APIs from the maestro life cycle scripts from within a pattern instance. By using these APIs, you can list, attach, and detach the block storage associated with a deployment.

This API, which is for use by plug-in developers, is intended for use in the development of software components or script packages that consume block storage or shared block storage. For more information about the block storage REST API, see the Related information section.
