Viewing monitoring data for virtual systems

If you deploy a virtual system instance, you can open IBM® Cloud Pak System Software Monitoring Portal to access the data collected by the monitoring agents for the virtual system instance.

1. Do one of the following actions:
   1. Click Patterns > Virtual System Patterns (Classic). If you are on 2.3.3.3, click .
   2. Click Patterns > Virtual System Patterns. If you are on 2.3.3.3, click Patterns > Provision > Virtual System Patterns.
2. From the list of available instances, select the virtual system instance for which you want to view monitoring data.
   Detailed information about the virtual system instance is displayed.
3. Click the plus sign (+) beside Virtual machines.
   A list of virtual machines that were created for the virtual application instance is displayed.
4. Click the plus sign (+) beside a virtual machine.
   General information about the virtual machine is displayed.
5. In the General information section, click Monitor beside Monitoring.
   Important: The 64-bit version of the Java™ Runtime Environment (JRE) is not supported for this operation. You must have the 32-bit version of the IBM JRE Version 6 (SR 12 or later) or IBM JRE Version 7 installed.
