Install Endpoint Manager clients

The Endpoint Manager clients are installed automatically through an IBMEndpointManagerClient system plug-in when you deploy virtual application instances and virtual system instances.

Important: IBM Cloud Pak System is deprecating the BigFix license. You need to procure HCL BigFix license from HCL. For more information about procuring and uploading to IBM Cloud Pak System, see BigFix procurement and Downloading HCL BigFix and uploading to IBM Cloud Pak System.

This plug-in is enabled by default, so you do not have to take any action to prepare the Endpoint Manager clients to connect to the shared service after it is deployed in the cloud group.
