Performing IBM Storage Scale Client operations
After deploying your virtual application or virtual system patterns that include application components configured as IBM Storage Scale Clients that use the IBM Storage Scale Client Policy to connect to a IBM Storage Scale Server, you can perform various operations to ensure that your clients are performing well and to update the application configuration.
These operations are accessible from the GPFSClient section of the Operations page on the Instance Console.
Note that if you configured your IBM Storage Scale Client using the IBM Storage Scale Client script packages, these operations are not available. Instead, you can run the IBM Storage Scale Client Operations script package for your deployed virtual machine instance and select one of the available client operations.
- From the console, click Patterns and then click either Virtual Application Instances or Virtual System Instances.
- Select the virtual instance that you want to manage.
- From the options on the menu bar, click Manage. The Instance Console is displayed.

- Expand each section of operations to access the various tasks that you can perform.
