Viewing storage resources

You can view details for discovered storage controllers and block logical units (LUNs).

Before you begin

You must be assigned the Hardware administration role with permission to View all hardware resources (Read-only) to perform these steps.

About this task

You can use the console, the command line interface, or the REST API to complete this task. For the command line and REST API information, see the Related information section.

Procedure

  1. Access the console pane. Click Hardware > Storage Resource.
  2. Select LUNs to view the following fields:
    • Name
      The disk name as specified while creating a block storage.
    • State
      Specifies LUN availability. When the state of a LUN changes from Pending to Available, you can assign the volume to a cloud group.
    • Size
      Specifies the size of the LUN in GB.
    • Type
      Type of storage can be block or RAW.
  3. Select Storage Controllers to view the following information about storage pools:
    • Name
      Specifies the name of the storage pool.
    • Utilized Capacity
      Specifies the how much of the allocated capacity is being used.
    • Allocated Capacity
      Specifies how much of this storage pool's capacity is allocated.
    • Cloud Group
      Specifies the cloud group that is associated with this storage.
