Using predefined virtual system patterns

Classic virtual system patterns are made up of parts from one or more virtual images, and script packages from the catalog. They provide a topology definition for repeatable deployment that can be shared.

Before you begin

Note: The Virtual System Patterns (Classic) is not supported in IBM Cloud Pak System Software version 2.3.5 and later.
Review the classic virtual system patterns provided by Cloud Pak System Software for Power® to determine which classic virtual system pattern best fits your needs. See the related links for more information about these classic virtual system patterns.
