By default, script packages that use the virtual system
plug-in are configured to run when the virtual system has finished
starting during initial creation. You must change this default behavior
for the shared services client plug-in by configuring your script
packages to run on demand.
Before you begin
To complete this task, you must be assigned
the Workload resources administration role with permission to Manage workload resources (Full permission).
Procedure
- Click . If you are on 2.3.3.3, click

- From the list of available script packages, select the
script package to be updated.
- In the details for the selected script, in the Executes field,
select either of the following options:
- when I initiate it
- at virtual system creation and when I initiate it
What to do next
Deploy your configured script package as part of a virtual
system pattern. To initiate the running of a deployed script package,
click the start icon that is displayed next to the script name for
a selected virtual machine. You can run the script as many times as
needed.
