You can manually stop the monitoring agent from collecting
data, for example in virtual application environments that are still
in development. Then, when you are ready to start collecting data
again, you can manually restart the agent.
Before you begin
You must be assigned the Workload resources administration role with permission to Manage workload resources (Full permission).
Procedure
- Click .
If you are on 2.3.3.3, click .
- In the list of instances, click the virtual application
on which WebSphere® MQ
is deployed. Detailed information about the virtual application is
displayed in the main pane.
- Click the Manage icon.
The Instance Console window
opens with the Monitoring tab selected.
- Select the Operations tab.
- Select the entry that represents WebSphere MQ.
- Click Monitoring of WebSphere MQ to
expand.
- Do one of the following steps:
- To start the monitoring agent, expand Start,
and then click Submit.
- To stop the monitoring agent, expand Stop,
and then click Submit.
