Installing Cloud Pak System Software

This section describes how to install IBM® Cloud Pak System Software for Power®.

Before you begin

• Read the installation requirements in System requirements.
• Configure PowerVC, HMC and VIOS for Cloud Pak System Software.
• Set up the Platform System Manager operating system. Configure the disks and optionally set up an encrypted partition or logical volume to encrypt all sensitive data on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux® operating system for the Platform System Manager.
