Uploading SSH keys to virtual system instances

You can add or update SSH public keys for accessing a specific virtual machine.

Before you begin

You must have a private key to perform this operation.

For more information about SSH key access, see Managing SSH key-based access for virtual system instances.

1. Click Patterns > Virtual System Instances.
2. Click the name of the instance you want to view. The details for the instance display.
3. Click Manage.
4. Click Operations, choose the SSH option from the list.
   • Expand Add or update virtual machine SSH public key to add or modify an existing SSH public key for the virtual machine.
   • Expand Remove virtual machine SSH public keys to delete an SSH public key for the virtual machine.
5. Click Submit to save the changes.
