Installing Cloud Pak System Software

This section describes how to install IBM® Cloud Pak System Software for x86.

Before you begin

• Read the installation requirements in System requirements.
• Configure VMware vCenter Server and ESXi for Cloud Pak System Software.
• Set up the Platform System Manager operating system. Configure the disks and optionally set up an encrypted partition or logical volume to encrypt all sensitive data on the Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® operating system for the Platform System Manager.
