Installation

The Edge Gateway is available to install as standalone software (.run file) or a virtual appliance (vApp) in Open Virtualization format (.ova file).

The installation steps consists of installing the Edge Gateway software on a system in your environment, creating an Edge Gateway pairing from Connections > Edge gateway in the IBM Security QRadar Suite application, and then creating the Edge Gateway. You can create multiple Edge Gateways from the same image.

From one installation, you can create one or more instances of the Edge Gateway.

If you encounter any problems with deployment or pairing, you can access the Edge Gateway logs as follows:
