IBM® DB2 connection parameters
You can specify the DB2® connection parameters.
The following list describes the DB2 connection parameters:
- DB2 Server
- The DB2 server name.
- DB2 Database
- The DB2 database name.
- DB2 Schema
- The DB2 schema name. If this field is left blank, the User ID parameter is used as the schema name.
- Port
- The DB2 server port number used.
- User ID
- The user login ID.
- Password
- The password for the user ID.
- Connection Timeout
- DB2 Server cancels a connection request if a connection cannot be made within this amount of time, in seconds.
- Command Timeout
- DB2 Server cancels a query if not completed within this amount of time, in seconds.
- System Catalog Name
- The name of the DB2 system catalog. Use the name SYSCAT.TABLES for Microsoft Windows and AIX® DB2 databases. Use the name SYSIBM.SYSTABLES on MVS™.
