TASK Resource Table

This CICS® Resource describes a task in an active CICS system that is being managed by CICSPlex® SM.

The First key field for this resource is TASK.

When used in an evaluation definition (EVALDEF), you might want to limit the evaluation to include only those tasks for which a specific transaction is associated. To do so, include the TRANID attribute in the evaluation filter expression; for example, TRANID=TRN1.

The following actions are supported:
FORCEPURGE
Force purge a task.

There are no parameters for the FORCEPURGE action.

KILL
Kill a task.
There are no parameters for the KILL action.
Note: The KILL action can lead to unpredictable results and should be used only in exceptional circumstances.
PURGE
Purge a task.
The parameter data for the PURGE action is:
   PARM('PURGETYPE(purgeaction).')
 
     where:
     
     purgeaction = (Required)  PURGE, FORCEPURGE or KILL.
SRRACTIVE
Set security request recording to active for this task.
SRRINACTIVE
Set security request recording to inactive for this task.
