Changes to documentation

This section summarizes the changes to the organization or deliverables of CICS® documentation, across supported CICS releases. Use this information to understand significant documentation changes between one release and another. Documentation for all releases of Version 6 is provided together.
  • Table 1 describes changes to HTML documentation by area.
  • Table 2 provides information about the availability of PDFs by release.

Security section   NEW: structure and information
Troubleshooting section   CHANGED with 6.2: Enhancements to trace information, including a new trace term topic and new section How it works: Tracing in CICS. z/OS trace is now covered in Using z/OS trace for problem determination.
Upgrading section

Upgrading information is provided in full in the latest CICS TS product documentation.
