CEBT PERFORM SHUTDOWN

Shut down the alternate CICS system in an XRF complex.

Description

If you enter CEBT PERFORM SHUTDOWN, all active system tasks are allowed to finish, and the alternate CICS system signs off normally from the CICS availability manager (CAVM) data set.

Options

Dump
Produces a dynamic storage dump when the shutdown is complete.
Immediate
Shuts down the alternate CICS system immediately, terminating all active tasks. The alternate CICS signs off abnormally from the CAVM data set. This action can cause the primary (active) CICS system to abend if tasks are still running.
