Processes screen

The Processes screen lists the process names, the mode of a process, the completion status, whether a process is suspended, and lists process containers for the process named in the process field.

The displayed fields mean:

Comp
The completion status of the process:
Abend
The program that implements the root activity abended.
Forced
The process was forced to complete—for example, it was canceled with a CANCEL ACQPROCESS command.
Incomplete
The process is incomplete.
Normal
The process completed normally.
Conts
A selectable field. If you place the cursor on this field and press ENTER, you get a list of the process-containers for the process named in the Process field. For an example of the CBAM Containers screen, see Figure 1.
Mode
The mode of the process. One of:
  • Active
  • Cancelling
  • Complete
  • Dormant
  • Initial.

Process
The name of a process.
Susp
Whether the process is currently suspended:
No
The process is not currently suspended.
Sus
The process is currently suspended.

If you place the cursor on the name of a process and press ENTER, you get a list of the process's constituent activities—see Figure 1.
