ABEND EC6-xxxxE04B on startup

CICS® Transaction gateway fails to start.

Symptom

The CICS Transaction Gateway fails to start with an ABEND EC6-xxxxE04B and message BPXP029I being output.

Probable cause

CICS Transaction Gateway is running in a program controlled environment and loaded a file that is not owned by UID 0.

Action

Locate the file identified in message BPXP029I and ensure it and all other files that are loaded by the CICS TG are owned by UID 0.
