Determining health status

The current health status is available in the GD_CHEALTH statistic. This information describes how to find the current health status.

Procedure

  1. Log on to TSO and navigate to the SDSF console.
  2. Enter the following MVS system command: /F <JOB>,APPL=STATS,GS=GD_CHEALTH where <JOB> is the JCL jobname of the Gateway daemon.
    A message tells you the current value for health status.
