Configuring the CICS ECI resource adapter for local mode on IBM WebSphere Application Server for IBM z/OS

This information details changes to configuring the CICS® ECI resource adapter for local mode on IBM® WebSphere® Application Server for IBM z/OS®.

The CICS TG JNI libraries to IBM WebSphere Application Server for IBM z/OS are required to use the CICS ECI resource adapter in local mode. The configuration steps to specify the location of the CICS TG JNI libraries have changed. The CICS Transaction Gateway installation bin directory must now be specified on the server_region_libpath environment variable. In previous versions of CICS Transaction Gateway for IBM z/OS, this was specified on the native path of the resource adapter.
