Java EE application servers

The CICS® Transaction Gateway Java EE resource adapters are compatible with several Java EE application servers.

IBM WebSphere Application Server for z/OS® 9.0 and 8.5

It is supported in local and remote modes. For the local mode, the supported Java™ runtime environments are listed in Java runtime environments for core components. For remote mode, the supported Java runtime environments are listed in Java runtime environments for applications.

Java EE 8 application servers

Any Java EE 8 application server that successfully runs the installation verification test (IVT) for the resource adapter. The IVT provided with CICS Transaction Gateway must run successfully before problems can be reported to IBM®.

Java EE 7 application servers

Any Java EE 7 or later certified application server that successfully runs the installation verification test (IVT) for the JCA resource adapter. The IVT provided with CICS Transaction Gateway must run successfully before problems can be reported to IBM.

Java EE 6 application servers

Any Java EE 6 or later certified application server that successfully runs the JCA resource adapter IVT (installation verification test). This list includes all non-IBM application servers. The IVT test that is provided with CICS Transaction Gateway must run successfully before problems can be reported to IBM.
