Configuring the IPIC HA port in a remote mode topology

To enable IPIC HA in a remote mode topology, configure the IPIC HA port by defining the IPICHAPORT parameter in the IPIC server section of the CICS® Transaction Gateway configuration file (ctg.ini).

The following sample of the configuration file shows the IPICHAPORT parameter configured as 1850:
