Storage scheduler

The IBM® Cloud Infrastructure Center enables you to select a storage provider based on backend-specific properties that use various filters and weighers within the storage scheduler. The storage scheduler supports filtering and weighting to make informed decisions about where to create new volumes. During its operation, the scheduler iterates over all discovered storage providers, evaluating each against a set of filters. The resulting list of storage providers is then ordered by the weighers. Next, the scheduler selects the most heavily weighted storage providers for the requested volume.
