Array managers are configured for different clusters
Resolve issues caused by incorrect array manager configuration in stretch cluster environments.
Problem
Array discovery fails or no devices are detected.
Explanation
In stretch cluster configurations, both array managers must reference the same Ceph cluster. Configuring array managers to point to different clusters causes discovery failures.
Resolution
Complete the following steps:
- From VMware Live Site Recovery navigate to .
- Select the array pair and edit both the local and remote array managers.
- Verify that both array managers use the same Ceph Dashboard endpoint (IP or FQDN).
- Verify that both array managers are configured with different location values.
- Save the configuration.
- Run Discover Arrays again.
