Configure bucket-level settings such as encryption and tags.

About this task

From the bucket management views, you can configure settings that apply to an entire bucket. These settings include encryption and bucket tags.

Configure encryption settings for a bucket

Procedure

  1. Open the bucket that you want to manage.
  2. Go to the Advanced or Settings section.
    The exact section name might vary depending on the deployment.
  3. Locate the encryption configuration.
  4. Select the encryption type.
    Available options include:
    • None (default)
    • SSE-S3 (AES-256)
    • SSE-KMS
  5. Click Save.

Results

The encryption setting is applied to the bucket.

Manage bucket tags

Add, edit, or delete tags for a bucket

Procedure

  1. Open the bucket that you want to manage.
  2. Go to the Advanced or Tags section.
  3. Add or edit a tag.
    Tags are key-value pairs used to organize and categorize buckets.
  4. To delete a tag, select the tag and click Delete.

Results

The bucket tags are updated.
