Validate cluster health after installation or upgrade to ensure that the IBM Storage Ceph cluster is ready for use.
Procedure

Open the Ceph Cluster dashboard.
Note: The Overview page in the Provisioner UI should display the status Ceph installed for all Ceph nodes once deployment is complete. This confirms that every node has successfully joined the cluster.

Verify that the overall health status displays
HEALTH_OK.

Confirm that the following services are running:

Validate device mapping and placement across nodes.

Review cluster logs and investigate any warnings or errors.
Results
The IBM Storage Ceph cluster is validated and ready for use.
What to do next
After the cluster is validated, you can upgrade the cluster when a newer version is available. See Upgrading the Ceph cluster.
